Very informative! The down to earth presentation understated the expertise of the presenter. I hope that there will be other sessions. Thanks for putting this together.

I really enjoyed this. John’s presentation was practical and offered insights into action photography that could be applied to other subjects as well as sports. It was interesting to hear how he handles some of the same challenges that I find when shooting wildlife action.
I enjoyed seeing his work. I can appreciate the difficulty of good composition when you have just moments to shoot an action sequence. Although some of action you get is luck, it takes a lot of expertise and instinct to put that luck to work to produce a great image.
Thanks for hosting this, Guy. I can’t wait to see what you’ll be offering next!

Thanks to all who attended. I had a blast and enjoyed the opportunity to talk about photography. The questions were excellent and using the laser pointer was a thrill. Guy and the guys at Danella’s have been an invaluable resource for me for years and it was good of them to host the event.

It was well worth the trip down from Old Forge…every tip, no matter how big or small is valuable to me. Many of John’s tips are easily transfered to other kinds of shots. Let’s do this again!!
Thanks Guy….sorry about the branch landing on the hood of your car! I didn’t sleep all night!

This presentation was very down to earth and informative. It was good hearing from someone who told us his techniques he used for each photo. His photos were outstanding by the way, and it was fun seeing that doing a simple technique can make a photo easily more appealing to the viewers.
